About Shri Mata Vaishno Devi – The Sacred Pilgrimage in Trikuta Hills
Located in the Trikuta Hills near Katra in Jammu & Kashmir, the Holy Shrine of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Ji is one of India's most revered pilgrimage destinations. The pilgrimage culminates at the Holy Cave, where devotees seek the Darshans of the Divine Mother.
According to the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board, the Holy Cave is situated at an altitude of around 5,200 feet and the traditional pilgrimage route from Katra to Bhawan is approximately 12 kilometres.
